The more issues I clear, and the lighter I feel, the more I realize this conscious human experience is a journey with no arrival. I don't know what enlightenment is other than self-acceptance and understanding of oneself as energy consciousness. We have all experienced enlightened moments when we connect with the beauty of a flower or when the sound of a laughing child tickles us inside. I experience sustained periods of calm, peace and productivity beyond anything I could have experienced in this earlier life. Yet, there are still times when I find myself triggered by something unanticipated and find myself caught up in an energy disturbance. I do not live in this state for long because I make quick work of clearing it through the tools and practices outlined in this work.
I believe that living in the 'now' and holding out the question "I don't know" is the most open state of being. It is a beautiful neutralizing point-of-consciousness that disengages us from the energy-draining influences of the an external world and of our ego-self.
The very ability to conceive of an idea that an enlightened state of existence is attainable in this lifetime, is enough for me to conclude that indeed perfection does reside in each and every one of us - and it exists right now !
We can be still. It is a choice. It is a bright star to which we can anchor ourselves, one that wavers not in the ebb and flow of the cosmic polarity between 'clear' and an 'unclear'. By concentrating on living in a tranquil state rather that a disrupted state of energy, I visit my own perfection perpetually and it becomes the welcome reality of 'Now'. Rather than reject out-of-hand the possibility of extremes in my world, of pain and of sadness, I invite them in like an old friend to sit near the hearth of the fire that burns within me. This is living the duality. And it is momentary because there is only one moment and that moment is now.
Use the experience of pain during your life to awaken. You are not a human having a spiritual experience. You are a spiritual being having a human experience. As you awaken to this realization, there becomes only one true reality. When your spirit shines through all the limiting beliefs that have shaped your human experience thus far, then you will know the reason for your existence. It is Love. Unconditional Love.
