Live 'On Purpose' Use Your Mind

The word “serendipity” was entered into the lexicon by Horace Walpole in 1754. He had become intrigued with a Persian fairy tale in which three princes of Serendip, (now Sri Lanka) traveled the world, “making discoveries, by accidents and sagacity, of things they were not in quest of...” Walpole proposed the new word, but then went on to give rather mundane examples of its meaning. It is only recently that serendipity has acquired its rather grand and mysterious significance.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines serendipity as “the faculty of making happy and unexpected discoveries by accident.” Serendipity plays an important part in research of all kinds, but it operates only in a special environment; as Pasteur famously stated, “Chance favors the prepared mind.” In research, what serendipity really means in practical terms is that scientists discover things in the course of their investigations that they were not looking for. And these new findings are often not the products of cold logic.
Today, I made some discoveries based upon such unusual sources of inspiration, seemingly all unconnected, that I am left with only one conclusion, the same one I've been shouting for years now; "Everything's mental!" Of course, we have our spiritual selves, but without refined mental focus, we cannot effectively access this part of ourselves - our eternal and ethereal selves. (Do not confuse 'focus' with religion.) Perhaps in millions of years, versions of Humans evolved, will, like other lifeforms in our Universe have the use of more than a small percentage of their mental capacities.
Briefly then, I was watching a video depicting Dr. Stephen Greer addressing a congressional committee at The National Press Club in Washington - all formal, very serious. The topic; 'The Disclosure Project' which is in essence, an ongoing initiative with a primary aim of convincing governments worldwide to disclose the reality of extraterrestrials (ETs) among us, visiting us, and otherwise interacting with Humanity. Here's that link; https://youtu.be/7giHfhCE55o - very interesting indeed. Check it out.
In this clip, Dr. Greer mentions a theory that all interstellar travel is actually conducted mentally - that is it is fully envisioned first, before becoming reality. It's like an advanced version of  'The Strangest Secret' - we become what we think about. Dr. Greer's theory is absolutely plausible. Even if vehicles could travel faster than the speed of light, it simply takes too long to get anywhere because of the vastness of our Universe. It's not practical. Light takes eight minutes to reach the Earth from the Sun for example. Far better to fully imagine where you want to go to the degree that your thoughts instantly become reality and you are transported to your destination in a quantum-flux moment. This he believes is precisely how ETs visit us, spacecraft and occupants - the whole shebang. It is also why the thousands of sightings of so-called UFOs often involve materialization and dematerialization. It's a dimensional shift that is happening rather that a distance travelled scenario he suspects.
I decided this morning that I would find love. Not romantic love, but I wanted to go somewhere and meet the concept of love, or a person or place that exuded love. I just felt I could use a spiritual boost. After driving around for an hour, I arrived back in my neighbourhood ready to call it a day. I found myself stopped in front of a tiny tea shop with the most amazing Valentine's Day window display I have ever seen. Red hearts, red teapots, bedazzled tea cups - This was a sign I thought. I stopped in and when asked if I was looking for something in particular, I said. "Yes, I'm looking for love." to which the shop owner replied, "Well I have some love." "So do I!" I said. We laughed and while I picked out some tea and a lovely new British 'Brown Betty' teapot, I realized I was speaking with three generations of lovely ladies discussing life, tea and travel. I remarked to the daughter who was so attentively listening to the banter, "Mind is the best traveller." Where did I get that idea from?
The story of The Three Princes of Serendip has a chapter wherein the princes stop into an inn on their travels and found the innkeeper to be so knowledgeable about world travel, and so fluent in minute, refined detail about exotic destinations that they asked him how he could know so much about unknown parts of the ancient world. The innkeeper remarked, "I am only a lowly innkeeper, and I have never been out of this village. All my guests though, regale me with stories of their travels and all I am left with is my imagination. "Mind is the best traveller" he said to the three princes.

Make no mistake, serendipity is not as the dictionary defines it. It involves nothing 'by accident'. I found what I was looking for today because I simply thought about it first. The Universe, or God, or Quantum Mechanics took care of the rest - Love, serendipity or both. -A.N.
