Universal Femininity - A Softer Choice

We have to learn to trust and nourish so we can evolve and survive to become something softer and more beautiful.

I watched a ballet the other night; it taught me a lesson. The softness and grace, and the gentle femininity of it was such a contrast to the harsh world outside. It was like a meditation, the pitter-patter of warm rain on a dry soul. Our world has been built by men and part of that is a good benefit to us all, we have railroads, phone systems and highways, but with that infrastructure came their ideals of materialism and competition, and dog-eat-dog.

Many of our leaders are, for the most part, violent and nasty beings but they only reflect what people want, and much of our society reflects that same misguided warring macho mentality. Many modern women are not very different to men, they buy the same dogma-glamour, materialism, egocentricity and a soulless, narcissistic isolation. I don’t agree with the philosophy of the modern world that men built, I find their ideals cruel and ugly.

Yang masculinity is acid while femininity and softness is alkaline. If your food is too acidic, you get sick. And if land becomes salty and acid nothing much grows except a few hardy grasses. Even much of our oceans are becoming too acidic and unfit for most life. The point is, if you loose your balance, if you loose your softness, you lose track of your soul. Humanity has become ugly but you should still look at it with a soft eye and offer a kindness to everyone. You never know, the beggar in front of you may be a saint.
Spirituality is hidden away now, you hardly ever come across it.
I’ve been alive for over forty years and I only found a handful of people that were kind and human and real, the rest were cold and ailing, because they don’t understand they are supposed to be kind, loving and compassionate to others. They are far too wounded and hard. They are miles away in their minds, day dreaming and plotting their own survival with their egos well fed and laughing in a dimly-lit corner of their consciousness.

Softness, tenderness and compassion on the other hand, delivers you from the ego and so it can often feel uncomfortable, because this may be something relatively new to you and new things, or change can be discomforting. But your soul needs an evening at the ballet, as way of affirming your connection to better things, higher things.

Every moment of softness heals you; children, animals, flowers, the sea, silence, whatever. In those moments you remember who you are and where you came from and if the world rots in its yang ways what can you do about it?

Emotional pain is all based on the ego’s opinion. It decides things should be one way and karma comes along to contradict that. It is not a pleasant thing to suffer an ego-hit but it happens to all of us. So say to yourself when things go against you “This is natural. This is my karma. I must accept it,” and then move on with dignity and valour.

Visualize the adverse situation and breathe love into it and the people involved. Love can cure the pain, because it makes you bigger than the pain so you can get over it.

When people hurt you, visualize them or look at their picture and offer them your dignity. Breathe on them saying “I offer you my love, I offer you my piety, I offer you my respect, I offer you my benevolence, I offer you my compassion, I offer you my bravery, I offer you healing and resolution.
Your godliness is inked to the ability to suffer pain because the celestial within you is bound to be attacked by the evil that surrounds you. Accept it and give it no care. Be yourself, not your ego.
Be Brave and remember love is your only defence and if you will adopt the adage “No fear, no anger” nothing much can touch you.
