The Multiverse

This morning, I was skimming the coagulated layer of fat from a turkey soup stock I had left in the refrigerator overnight. As I scraped the solidified fat from the gelatin beneath it, I noticed the consistency of the gelled stock. It was not liquid, nor was it gelatin. It was somewhere between the two states. As I gently disrupted the surface of this mass, I noticed that with each application of energy (nudge of  the pot) the gelatin created a swirl motion which showed itself as a singularity; that being the exact shape of a spiral galaxy as viewed from about a 30 degree angle to its centre or core. As the gelatin retracted back upon itself attempting to regain its original non-disrupted state, the 'galaxy' fell back or retracted upon itself but did not stop at its still-surfaced starting point. Rather, it disappeared into its own centre, or black hole.

This observation has led me to the conclusion that when our current universe ceases to expand (it is still expanding at an accelerating rate) it will fall back upon itself erasing or 'cleansing' any sign of itself in the residual dark matter of 'empty' space. This implosion will represent a reversal of space-time. When the mass of the current expansion falls into itself, space time will condense and disappear into itself an instant after expansion ceases and implosion occurs.

This retraction and implosion will then create an opposite and equal reaction, - that being another 'big bang'... and a new, expanding universe. And so it goes.

I believe we are living at a point in space-time that represents the forty-second expansion of our universe in this particular dimension. As physicists have discovered, there are eleven known dimensions in our universe, and an unknown vast number of co-existing universes each with its own laws of physics and quantity of dimensions, so getting reborn in another life takes on varied and innumerable possibilities. The chances of you being re-born into this universe and this particular dimension within it, in some sort of a sequential time relating to your previous conscious existence, are very miniscule indeed. Of course, if each of us exists in every dimension consciously or unconsciously and in every universe at a different point in space-time within each one, and those universes are expanding at varying rates of acceleration, at least you will never have the misfortune of meeting yourself. Should that ever happen, all space-time continuums containing the entity that is 'you' would immediately implode and cease to exist..Until their inevitable rebirth via countless 'big-bangs'. And so it goes.

Thus, creation reads like the back of a shampoo bottle. Apply. Rinse. Repeat... forever. - A.N.
